Writing

Alongside the songs, I sometimes share pieces of writing that sit beside the music.

As a teenager I would write letters to friends and family, and I found a great joy in those moments of pen or pencil to paper. I'd let my imagination flow freely. Over the years, many thoughts and feelings were expressed through songs, but others came out as little essays, stories or poems.

The pieces gathered here are simply part of the same ongoing journey — small attempts to capture moments, questions, and stories that stay with me.
